Details: Position Summary: Responsible for assisting in verifying and collecting insurance co-pays and self pay deposits and providing counseling regarding financial assistance programs. Essential Job Functions: 1. Verify patient insurance 2. Post payments to patient account 3. Arrange for repayment or establish repayment schedules, based on customers' financial situations 4. Submit money collected at the end of each shift. 5. Data entry (knowledge of Excel spreadsheets) and scanning documents. 6. Answer customer questions regarding their accounts 7. Speak with patients face to face using excellent customer service abilities 8. Other duties assigned
