Details: Controller - $110 – 125K + 15% bonus Notes: Manufacturing industry experience Must have strong systems skills – implementations, conversations, etc. Someone in the trenches and hands on with systems as we are looking to maximize our current system. Need a hands-on Controller - help improve internal controls, data quality, costs, SOP’s, reporting, and systems. Supervises 4 –GL/AP/AR person and one Senior Cost Accountant – need someone who can mentor these people We are looking for someone who wants to stay for a while. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Coordinates, administers and controls financial operations. Prepares annual Operating Plan, Five-Year Financial Plan, monthly financial forecasts and monthly reports. Prepares monthly financial statements, variance reports and financial forecasts. Prepares monthly report containing management’s discussion and analysis of the business. Provides tax, insurance and other reports required by governmental regulations. Reviews, analyzes and interprets financial and budgetary reports. Prepares or assists in the preparation of annual financial forecasts and in the development of financial accounting systems required to maintain reporting requirements. Provides training and guidance to Finance/Accounting staff as appropriate. Performs other related duties as required. Supervisor Responsibilities: Directly supervises exempt and/or nonexempt associates. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Job Complexity: Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Ensures budgets, schedules and performance requirements are met.
