Details: Assist in the evaluation and testing of audit analytics tools such as Cognos, ACL and other system query tools. Assist in the creation and perform testing of changes/updates to data analysis templates. Assist in developing and/or perform monitoring of audit analytics procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting client activities. Assist in the evaluation of opportunities to deploy data analytics to expand internal audit coverage. Conduct data extraction and perform analysis. Ensure integrity of all data and analysis related to areas of focus. Train and teach others on data extraction and the use of analysis tools. Communicate the results of audit analytics to internal audit staff, management and where appropriate to audit clients. Develop and maintain productive client and staff relationships through individual contacts and group meetings. Represent internal audit on organizational project teams, at management meetings, and with external organizations. Pursue professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships, and share information gained. Performs all other job related duties as requested.
