Staff Accountant

Details: Barnes Aerospace Ogden Fabrications division has a challenging and rewarding career opportunity exists for a Staff Accountant. He or she will “lead by example” and act as a proactive liaison between the Strategic Business Unit and Divisions to champion initiatives and to continue to satisfy and exceed customer expectations. This position reports to the Division Controller. Core Responsibilities: Process weekly and monthly reports. Monthly Close including preparation of journal entries and report completion as necessary to close the ledger. Perform monthly reconciliations and analyses of designated accounts. Perform regular analyses for department’s performance to budget and prior period(s). Work with appropriate departmental personnel (i.e.: Engineering, Operations, Production Control) to ensure integrity of records and information. Monthly sales & use tax return prepared and filed. Other duties as required. Travel is negligible for this role. Relocation assistance is not avable for this role.
