Accounting Clerk - Rancho Dominguez, CA The Accounting Clerk is responsible for providing accounting support to the accounting/finance team and supervisors. Ensures files are complete and maintained as needed, handles accounts payable duties, cash applications, and assists accounting personnel. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform accounting and clerical functions to support accounting team and supervisors. Maintain accounting records by making copies and filing documents. Research, track, and resolve accounting problems. Does data entry as needed in the accounting system. Input and runs vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records. Compile and sort invoices and checks Open mail and match payments to invoices Place checks in envelopes and mail out. Provide front desk customer services. Regularly clean out files, throwing away old material and making certain that all material has been filed correctly. Keep track of all the materials in the files and ensure that nothing is lost. Miscellaneous duties as requested. Education & Experience Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of progressively responsible experience in similar role. Full range of office procedures.
