Regional Credit Manager - Salt Lake City, UT The Regional Credit Manager is responsible for overseeing the credit department and the processing of credit applications, the checking of credit references, and the assigning of credit limits following pre-determined policies. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Develop and standardize written policy documentation related to the credit and customer set up process. Interface with sales organization to communicate credit decisions and ensure timely review of new customers. Make credit decisions within assigned authority. Plan and organize activities of credit team to ensure file reviews are completed timely / accurately. Initiate process improvement and quality reviews to simplify and improve productivity. Negotiate documentation and payment terms with customers to ensure transactions are properly secured. Resolve credit issues with customers. Develop management reporting. Education & Experience Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance 10+ years of progressively responsible management related experience. Must be able to function independently and work with minimal supervision. Experience with MAS 200 software core applications. PC proficient and thrive in a fast-paced setting. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Access and Word. 10-key by touch. Experienced with computer word processing, order and inventory forms, and spreadsheets. Well organized and able to carry out assignments as requested. Firm but courteous telephone manner when dealing with delinquent accounts. Understanding of credit reporting agencies. Proficient in reading / interpreting financial statements for the purpose of underwriting credit. Strong audit background, problem solving and customer service skills.
