Staff Accountant - Rancho Dominguez, CA The Staff Accountant is responsible for the general ledger to ensure the timely processing, reconciliation and analysis of accounting activity. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Prepare and input all corporate journal entries. Prepare monthly account analysis/reconciliations of all corporate general ledger accounts. Manage intercompany accounting and intercompany reconciliations. Prepare bank reconciliations. Perform invoice coding for non-standard payments. Research month-end expense variances to budget and prior year. Ensure internal controls are observed. Assist in the preparation of compliance reporting such as U.S. government, etc. Prepare audit schedules to support the annual external audit. Facilitate audits required by third parties such as vendors, customers, taxing authorities, etc. Provide additional analysis and financial support to regional and corporate leadership as needed, for standard and ad hoc reporting requirements. Maintain and reconcile fixed assets Analyze and reconcile inventory Work with management to help resolve questions regarding financials Education & Experience Qualifications Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting 3 – 5 years' experience in an Accounting role. Working knowledge of US GAAP Knowledge of MAS 90 or 200 a plus SQL a plus Must be able to function independently and work with minimal supervision. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities required. Experience with MAS 200 G/L software applications and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access and Word preferred. Must be able to utilize the 10-key function Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
